Meet Nancy

A nurse is always good to have close by. Someone who at any moment will step up to stop the bleeding and apply all their knowledge to provide immediate care. Dr. Nancy Mannion, DNP, RN, is an emergency nurse and she’s running for Congress in Pennsylvania’s 11th Congressional District of Lancaster and Southern York Counties. She’s not standing idly by and watching the Republican-controlled US House and Senate undermine and harm our Democracy.

Her swift action, decisiveness and unparalleled tenacity has saved lives, and her compassion and caring bring comfort when people are experiencing the worst day of their lives.   

As a highly accomplished emergency nurse with over 40 years of clinical, managerial, leadership development and consulting experience in the United States and around the world, Nancy has served in critical leadership positions in some of the finest hospitals in Boston, Philadelphia, and Central Pennsylvania. 

For nearly a decade, she led medical humanitarian missions in Bolivia, Kenya and Nepal. A tenacious, vibrant and dutiful force of boundless energy for good, she lives the motto to always be kind, and to repair the harm done in the world. 

Nancy and her husband Fred live in Manheim Township, Lancaster County. She is going to be visible across her district, ready to listen and act decisively, crossing all boundaries to improve the quality of life of everyone.
